This accredited facility boasts specialized teams dedicated to quality patient experience.The Vice Chair of Operations of the Emergency Department will report to the ED Chairman and will oversee the day-to-day operations and ED throughput and join a professional, dedicated staff. The Vice Chair of Operations of the Emergency Department will be responsible for strategic planning, staff development and be a service oriented and patient experience focused leader. You will be responsible for collaborating with the ED Chair, Hospital, and Nursing leadership while offering support to the ED staff. Not only will you serve as a leader within the emergency department, you will also serve as a leader within the organization. The Vice Chair of Operations of the Emergency Department job requires prior leadership experience in the Emergency Department, working knowledge of accreditation, safety, quality improvement, shared governance and project management and the ability to demonstrate participatory leadership style, successful strategic planning & analytic problem solving.The Vice Chair of Operations of the Emergency Department will be offered a competitive salary with a comprehensive benefits package.
