Job Duties: Vice President, Software Engineering with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in New York, New York. Develop, enhance, support, and maintain the Firm's software solutions in support of its global businesses. Design and implement high-quality, scalable, and thoughtful technology solutions leveraging both internal and open-source services. Own requirements gathering, user story refinement, development, testing (unit, integration, and regression), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deployment. Work with internal teams to develop solution designs on the flow of business data. Identify new external technologies that can be used to transform our financial businesses and internal platforms in innovative and disruptive ways. Work in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to meet internal and regulatory requirements. Design, implement and maintain robust testing suites to enable safe, complete, and scalable solutions across our business line. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a relevant quantitative field such as Mathematics or Statistics and five (5) years of experience in job offered or a related role OR Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a relevant quantitative field such as Mathematics or Statistics and three (3) years of experience in job offered or a related role. Prior experience must include four (4) years with Bachelor's OR two (2) years with Master's with the following: Full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support; Programming technologies including Java, Spring, Kafka, Python or PURE; Database query languages, including SQL or NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB; and working with OTC derivative products. Prior experience must include three (3) years with Bachelor's OR one (1) year with Master's with the following: Relational database management system (RDBMS) such as Sybase or Oracle; and Micro-services architecture design and development including REST, Java, Spring, or other back-end technologies.Salary Range: The expected annual base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $182,000 - $300,000.
