Description: As we continue to build our team in support of our vision to the be the world's best and most trusted mobility company, the Corporate Legal Group is excited to announce the creation of a new corporate transactions leadership position – Vice President and Associate General Counsel.

This individual will have the opportunity to develop and implement global legal support for Enterprise Mobility's corporate development and strategic investment activities. The position will report to the Chief Legal & Legislative Officer and serve as part of the Legal Group's leadership team.

The successful candidate will help develop, build and oversee a consolidated practice area focusing on complex commercial transactions, including strategic investments, acquisitions and asset purchases, dispositions, financial structuring and joint ventures. While this position is office-based in St. Louis, the successful candidate will support our world-wide operations in North America, Europe, and the United Kingdom. As part of the Legal Group's leadership team, this person will also help drive department initiatives, develop talent, and support the effectiveness of the overall department and enhance the use of matrixed-based responsibilities.

The position is responsible for providing timely and competent day-to-day legal services in support of various corporate development areas and across the Enterprise Mobility business lines. Supporting corporate, business-line and local opportunities, the successful candidate will, provide legal advice and support, negotiate transactional documents, review and manage legal and business due diligence efforts, provide guidance on regulatory compliance related issues, including global competition law considerations, while considering short and long-term legal risks.

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
  • 15 years of experience practicing law
  • 10 years of transactional law experience supporting fast growing businesses, either in house and/or outside counsel capacity
  • Experience with a variety of transactional matters including private companies and family-owned businesses
  • Demonstrable experience with complex commercial transactions including strategic investments, acquisitions, dispositions, financial structuring and joint ventures
  • High level of professionalism and integrity; strong ethical standards, and work ethic
  • Must be authorized to work in the US and not require sponsorship now or in the future
  • Licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction, with the ability to be permitted to practice in Missouri

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior management experience leading and developing a team
