Responsibilities
- Working with Business Unit Leaders to implement the Firm's strategic business development plan, conducting bi-monthly business development meetings and developing marketing, sales, and advertising plans.
- Preparing annual business development budget, developing and presenting client proposals when appropriate, and developing and maintaining quality relationships with clients.
- Developing, monitoring, and overseeing all business development activity for the Communications BD team.
- Preparing and presenting presentations to potential and existing clients, assisting and participating in other business development activities as required, and participating in preparation of responses to RFP's.
- Conducting annual performance reviews.
Required Qualifications:
- 10-15+ years Marketing and Business Development experience with electric utilities or with an engineering consulting firm calling on electric utilities.
- 8-10+ years working in and/or with telecommunications, and fiber/broadband.
- Strong industry contacts.
- Ability and desire to travel 50-70% of the time.
- Must have a valid driver's license without restrictions.
