Job Location:Roosevelt Field MallPRIMARY PURPOSE:The Vice President, Business Development Marketing & Insights – Simon Media Network will lead Marketing, PR, research, and measurement efforts for the Simon Media Network. Uniting data-driven marketing strategies with business outcomes to advance Simon's role in the Retail Media & DOOH marketplace. This role will utilize 1p and 3p data and insights to create compelling marketing materials and solutions to position Simon's media inventory and shopping destinations as marketplace essentials for consumer engagement and influence. The candidate will develop, create, and manage all marketing materials and collateral including social, digital and video content utilized by the organization and develop strategies and content that drive engagement, insights and expertise across key verticals and consumer segments. The Vice President, Business Development Marketing & Insights will serve as the primary liaison with industry organizations and third-party research partners. The successful candidate must possess a solid background and understanding of strategy development, storytelling, OOH/DOOH impression and media measurement, which bridges place-based DOOH into a dynamic omnichannel ecosystem. The Vice President candidate will work across multiple internal constituencies including Simon's RMN, the sales team, programmatic and field teams and will manage the creative services of the department.PRIORITY RESPONSIBILITIES Create compelling marketing materials to support the sales efforts of the Simon Media Network.Identify key audience insights and segments relevant to advertisers, develop materials and data insights to showcase penetration and reach against key verticals and our audience.Conduct and coordinate campaign measurement studies utilizing both first party and third-party data sources to support campaigns.Be the chief PR advocate for the Simon Media Network across all relevant industry publications and outlets.Manage all existing measurement partnerships and explore new partnerships.Manage, design and execute consumer insights studies that help promote Simon Media across the omnichannel ecosystem.Manage all aspects of the Simon Media Network social channels including writing, concepting, and scheduling. Support the development of periodic Enterprise Business Reviews to strategically grow client partnerships and drive revenue.Collaborate with insights and sales leaders to craft dynamic and compelling category-based collateral aligning with key tentpoles.Update all collateral and digital assets regularly.Schedule and partake in proactive meetings with sales team.Work with sales team on client requests (decks, one sheets, thought starters, etc.Maintain the library of all marketing materials including pitch decks, case studies, asset photos, media maps, sales resources, etc.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Excellent verbal & written communication abilitiesStrong interpersonal skills with ability to lead interdepartmental projectsBackground in creative ideation & development including proven ability to author compelling copy and data visualizationKnowledge of sales and marketing principles and methods for demonstrating, promoting, and selling products or servicesAbility to derive insights from research and familiarity with a broad range of advertising/media toolsMedia agency experience and/or digital/interactive agency experience a plusExperience working in and/or providing media and digital marketing servicesHigh energy with positive outlookExcellent analytical, strategic, and creative problem-solving skills. Innovative self-motivator with ability to be resourceful in ambiguous situationsProven organizational skills and flawless attention to detailStrong interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and collaborativelyStrong quantitative analytical skills, and metrics-orientedHighly proficient in MS Office suite, Monday.com, Digital Video editor tools ie Canva, PhotoShop, etc…Solid network of industry organizations and tradesStrong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, develop timelines, manage deadlines, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment10+ years industry experienceBachelor's degree requiredThe salary range for this position is $160,000- $200,000 Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon various factors, including an individual's skills, experience, and qualifications.SummaryLocation: Garden City, NYType: Full time
