We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Client Implementations Project Manager to join our Buy Side Trading Solutions team. This role is located in New York, NY or Boston, MA – HYBRID.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Act as single point of contact for new clients during client implementation, setup and onboarding.
  • Work with client counterparts and BNY stakeholders from Product, Engineering, Trading, and other internal partners like Risk, Compliance, Controls and Legal, to design and manage end-to-end implementation plan.
  • Interface with broker-dealers and other external parties and assist with internal BNY processes to enable client implementations.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops, coordinating across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide ongoing oversight and monitoring of implementations through status reporting, issue tracking and escalation of issues.
  • Prepare, maintain, and enhance client onboarding and reporting documentation.
  • Ensure successful implementation and client satisfaction with the highest standard of care and responsiveness.
  • Provide feedback to BNY teams to deliver ongoing improvements in the client implementation process.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of BNY products, trading lifecycle, US / global capital markets and financial instruments.
  • Knowledge of market structure across financial products, trading flows, regulatory environment, and trading infrastructure (OMSs, ATSs, ECNs, FIX)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to drive initiatives forward.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, JIRA, Confluence and other project planning tools.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, including the ability to work across multiple workstreams with short lead times in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn, develop, and take on additional responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
  • Team-player mentality, attention to detail and appetite to learn.
  • FINRA SIE or Series 7 preferred but not required.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $97,000 and $179,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
