SummaryThe Vice President of Enrollment Management & Student Affairs is administratively accountable for overseeing the University's enrollment management and student affairs. This includes directing and coordinating the functions of the deans and directors of admissions, the Blue Healer Student Success Center (BHSSC), student records, financial aid, and student affairs, while also incorporating input from other relevant services. Reporting directly to the President, this role entails the oversight of planning and implementing goals, objectives, and strategies associated with Enrollment Management and Student Affairs, ensuring that these align with the vision and mission of Baptist University. The incumbent is responsible for departmental operations during standard hours, working eight hours a day, five days a week, while also being available 24/7 to address any issues that may arise at any time. Additionally, incumbents may be required to work beyond the regular workday.The person in this position will serve as a Campus Security Authority (CSA). A CSA has significant responsibility for student and campus activities and is designated as an individual to whom students and employees should report criminal offenses. It is the responsibility of the CSA to report to the Security Office all allegations of crimes.ResponsibilitiesLeads, organizes, and directs the University's enrollment management, the Blue Healer Student Success Center (BHSSC), along with student affairs programs, activities, operations, and services.Coordinates and assesses the activities of deans and directors to promote collaboration, ensure policy consistency, and effectively manage resources. Administers enrollment management and student affairs at the executive level, while monitoring and sharing appropriate compliance data.Guides, facilitates, and evaluates a data-driven strategic enrollment plan for the University, with an emphasis on attracting new students and implementing initiatives to retain current ones.Fosters a culture of continuous improvement and assessment for all programs and services within the area of responsibility.Leads the enrollment management and student affairs staff in consistently and effectively conveying the Baptist University story to prospective students and supporters.Provides oversight for the operational and capital budgets across all offices in enrollment management and student affairs.Serves as a senior leader on significant University councils and committees.Performs related accountabilities/responsibilities as required or directed.Requirements, Preferences and ExperienceMaster's Degree in higher education, student affairs or related area.Demonstrated effective leadership with four (4) years progressive leadership experience in enrollment management and/or student affairs.Demonstrated knowledge of strategic planning and best practices in enrollment management and/or student affairs.Knowledge of relevant federal, state and accreditation regulations and compliance in higher education.Experience in applications of technology related to enrollment management and/or student affairs.
