Expectations:
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Chief Nurse Officer CNO, this position is responsible to provide leadership, direction, decision-making, business line strategy and oversight for all procedural areas including the Operating Room, PACU, Same Day Surgery, Outpatient Surgical Services (HASC) and Cardiovascular, Imaging, Endoscopy, Radiation Oncology, Cancer Center, Respiratory/Pulmonary, Central Sterile. Responsible for the development and execution of overall business line strategies to meet current and future service expectations, patient growth and business expansion needs. Primary areas of focus include strategic planning; coordination of the planning, implementation, development and evaluation of clinical patient care programs; identification and standardization of productivity and performance measures for specific clinical care models; determination of resources to support implementation and support growth of initiatives; space planning and facility design; workflow standardization and consistency; usage of technology; leverage PMO services for complex projects; management reporting systems; quality, risk management, and customer service programs and initiatives. Utilization and leverage of these tools and standard workflow will assist to provide excellence in high quality patient services and prudent use of resources. This position requires flexibility of hours.
EDUCATION:
Master's degree in nursing, business administration, or health administration.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Five years related experience in clinical area and/or five years management experience.
SKILLS:
Strong communication and organizational skills and executive-level presence. Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix structure across the service line.
