Summary:
Our client is a leader in the electronics manufacturing industry, known for innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a Vice President of Finance to shape the companys financial future, bringing extensive finance experience in manufacturing, strong leadership, and a proven track record in financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial activities, including planning, analysis, and budgeting. Develop and implement strategies to enhance financial health.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Provide insights to guide strategic decisions and growth.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and manage accounting functions, including compliance and internal controls.
- Collaborate with the executive team on long-term strategies and assess financial risks and opportunities.
- Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and ensuring the team meets financial goals.
- Maintain relationships with investors and stakeholders. Present financial reports to the Board of Directors.
- Implement process improvements and cost efficiencies within financial operations.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance. Oversee audits and address issues.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of finance experience, Proven success in managing financial operations and strategy. Manufacturing industry preferred
- CPA designation preferred.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Extensive manufacturing experience with a deep understanding of financial dynamics and cost structures.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic financial plans. Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent problem-solving and data-driven decision-making skills.
