This role requires a deep understanding of financial and accounting principles, strategic planning, budgeting & forecasting, financial reporting and financial controls. The VP of FP&A and Accounting will work closely with the President/CFO and other senior leaders to develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's overall business objectives.Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, assess performance, and make informed business decisions.
- Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including preparation of financial statements and regulatory filings.
- Cost Control: Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve profitability.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Strategic Financial Planning: Provide strategic financial advice to senior management and support business development initiatives.
- Team Management: Build and scale a team of finance professionals, including financial analysts, accountants, and budget analysts.Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- CPA or CFA certification preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in a senior finance role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of financial leadership and success.
- Deep understanding of financial principles, strategic planning, and risk management.Estimated Starting Salary Range:The estimated starting salary range for this role is $242,000 - $270,000 annually less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a semi-monthly basis.
