Were seeking a future team member for the role of Fixed Income Index Portfolio Manager at Vice President level to join Mellon. This role is based in Pittsburgh, PA and this is a hybrid working position.

In this role, youll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Managing fixed income portfolios against various benchmarks while maintaining tight tracking error and complying with client guidelines. Knowledge of domestic and international fixed income instruments such as Treasuries, corporates, Mortgage-backed securites, ABS, CMBS, and FX.
  • Evaluating the performance of investments, and make timely changes to a portfolio due to cashflows, rebalancings, guideline changes to meet investment objectives ,.
  • Analyzing and determine client's appropriate level of risk based on time, preferences, expectations, and market conditions.
  • Potentially meet with clients and new business prospects to communicate investment strategy, discuss performance, and review current market conditions.
  • Providing guidance to less experienced Portfolio Managers as needed.
  • Contributing to team/firm profitability by assuring retention and expansion of existing client relationships by contributing to superior investment performance and client service.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of total work experience preferred and 5 years or more of investment experience preferred for MBAs or CFAs.
  • Preferred experience with Aladdin, Bloomberg, SQL/Database
  • Prefer knowledge of ETF ecosystem
  • Team player, attention to detail
