King University, a Christian liberal arts university in Bristol, Tennessee, seeks an experienced visionary leader to serve as its Vice President for Advancement . Reporting to the President and serving as a member of the President's Cabinet, the VPA will provide leadership to all areas of fundraising and play a central role in shaping the future of the university.In this role, the VPA will bring focus, organization, alignment, and strategic direction to all areas of fundraising across the institution. As an executive leader, the VPA will serve as a strategic thought partner to the president and work closely with him, members of the Board of Trustees, and other senior leaders in creating new engagement opportunities for alums, parents, and friends of the university. The seasoned professional will also bring a best practices and data-driven approach to the operational infrastructure of the Advancement division in order to take full advantage of a new CRM and an enthusiastic staff as they seek to increase baseline levels of philanthropic support for the university.
