The Vice President, Global Commercial Operations, serves the critical role of aligning the global supply chain and operations organization with the downstream distribution channels to better serve our customers. This role also has full responsibility for elevating the customer experience by leading and transforming the global customer services organization, and processes. Daily, this role has primary responsibility for On Time Delivery, Inventory Turns, and overall customer satisfaction and will drive critical initiatives associated with Pall's strategic initiatives on customer experience, digital transformation and product life cycle management initiatives. The Vice President, Global Commercial Operations is responsible for the strategic and operational direction of the consolidated Global Commercial Operation for Pall by ensuring global Customer Service/ Supply Chain processes are aligned to support optimal commercial revenue realization adopting best practice applying DBS tools, complying with relevant policies, definitions, methods and work instructions to service the business requirement.
This position aims to serve as a conjoin to strengthen process efficiency between sales, operations, supply chain & customer satisfaction thus accelerating growth, improving delivery performance and customer satisfaction for Pall Industrial Business. This position reports to the Vice President, Global Integrated Supply Chain, and is part of the Global Integrated Supply Chain team, located on-site in either Deland, FL, or Port Washington, NY.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Plan, lead, monitor, and control the commercial business processes, in particular the customer service parts of the quote to cash (Q2C) process, planners for inventory and service level management, buyers for procurement with-in & outside Danaher, and optimal shipment execution.
To listen to VOC and to support Sales' growth initiatives concerning the CS/ planner/ buyer bit of responsibility in the Q2C process. Report results and make change recommendations to key stakeholders and leadership teams.
Implement new standard processes and review current processes with regard to compliance (VAT and export control), to implement and monitor an optimized and harmonized standard process. Improve the commercial end-to-end processes and to enable growth.
Monitor the performance of global commercial operations function in achieving the agreed Key Performance Indicators. Drive Operational Excellence in line with DBS: Ensure KPIs are measured and reported (including, but not limited to the Visual Daily Management targets, backlog monitoring, accuracy, issue follow-up and RGA process). Facilitate or lead process improvements using DBS tools (Problem Solving Process, Visual Daily Management, Transactional Process Improvement)
Align organization to global Pall and Danaher Objectives & ensure compliance with global procedures and processes as well as global and local statutory requirements.
Actively participate in scheduled Customer Service and Sales meetings, preparing in advance to share relevant and beneficial information
Identify and implement process and technology enhancements required to improve the overall quality (such as order flow without manual intervention)
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering or other related discipline required. Master's degree in management, operations management, and/or technical field preferred.
7+ years experience in commercial, customer service, supply chain, or warehouse management
5+ years supervisory/management experience in operational roles
5+ years experience working in a global company with a matrix organization
5+ years of experience of listening to VOC and translating VOC into strategic approaches for growth
5+ years of experience in sales and distribution process functionality and change management focusing on building and sustaining a global/regional team.
3+ years of experience using continuous improvement tools and methodologies including lean conversion and KPIs improvement
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 50% of the time, to support projects, and business development efforts, and lead global staff.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Knowledge of Pall business environment locally – commercial and supply chain models, organization structure, products/activities, processes and policies. Knowledge of the Global Marketplace with experience ideally in filtration and separation processes or related disciplines.
Experience in developing business strategy, and leading strategic initiatives in support of functional and business objectives.
Good record of KPIs improvement, on-time delivery, lead time, cost and Inventory reduction, Supplier development, etc.

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $225,000-$250,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
