Position Overview: Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Vice President of Global Human Resources is a key executive role responsible for leading and overseeing the global human resources function. This role ensures the alignment of HR strategies with the organization's overall business objectives and drives initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness, culture, talent management, and employee engagement across all international locations and be the primary HR Business Partner to our Montreal, QC location.
The VP, Global HR will be a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, providing expertise in all areas of HR, including talent acquisition, development, retention, compensation, benefits, diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI), compliance, and HR technology. This role demands a leader who can navigate the complexities of a global workforce and foster a cohesive, high-performance culture.

Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Experience: 15+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role overseeing a global HR function.

The company works on the discovery of small molecule therapeutic agents for drug research with colleagues and partners outside Quebec with whom interaction is constant. Accordingly, knowledge of English is required for this position.
Knowledge of French is required for positions permanently located in Quebec so incumbents can communicate with their colleagues, suppliers and government in Quebec as necessary. French-language training will be offered to all incumbents in permanent positions in Quebec who do not have a good knowledge of French.
