Job Title: Vice President, Head of Product Marketing Department: Global Marketing Reports To: Senior Vice President, Channel & Product Marketing FLSA Code: Exempt Estimated Salary: $170,000 - $200,000 Job Summary: Cohen & Steers is seeking a strategic, hands-on leader with a player-coach mentality to lead our product marketing efforts across a diverse slate of investment products. In this pivotal role, you will work cross functionally with key business partners, serving as the subject matter expert for all product messaging positioning, and market insights. You will guide and influence stakeholders to maintain consistent messaging across all marketing materials and effectively educate our clients on our offerings. Major Responsibilities/Activities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the product marketing strategy for Cohen & Steers investment products, aligning with the firm's overall business objectives. Define and maintain the product marketing material for all investment products. Messaging: ensure simple straightforward consistent messaging across all material. Ensure we meeting service level agreements each month and quarter. Lead a team of product marketers, providing direction, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance. Serve as a key member of the marketing leadership team, contributing to broader marketing strategies and initiatives. Own and manage the listed real estate channel within product marketing (messaging, material, updates, QC, SLAs). Product Positioning and Messaging: Lead quarterly messaging process with Investments, Portfolio specialists and Product Management to ensure that marketing materials accurately reflect product features, benefits, and value propositions. Create compelling product positioning and market messaging that clearly differentiates Cohen & Steers and outlines the why now for each asset class. Manage and oversee the development of marketing collateral, including presentations, product briefs, sales flyers, brochures, whitepapers, and web content. Market Research and Insights: Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs. Use insights from research to inform product development and marketing strategies. Monitor market and product performance, providing regular updates and recommendations to senior leadership. Sales Enablement: Partner with the Creative services and distribution to develop tools and resources that support the sales process, Seismic access, livesends, etc. Ensure that the Sales team is equipped with the latest product information and competitive intelligence. Lead initiatives to drive product adoption and sales growth. Minimum Requirements: 10 years of experience within the financial services industry, with a strong focus on asset management and marketing. Asset class experience in real estatelisted real estate priority but private experience too Deep understanding of financial products, including mutual funds, ETFs, and alternative investments. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams. Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable messaging. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and inspire stakeholders at all levels. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
