Job Summary:

The Vice President- Human Resources will provide global strategic and tactical leadership for all HR related functions including, but not limited to, employee engagement, benefits, compensation, and talent management. This role analyzes current processes and explores innovative solutions to enhance, modernize, and develop scalable world class human resources programs and services. The position will have a hybrid work schedule (in office/remote) located in Ann Arbor, MI.

Essential Functions:
  • Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Maintain and evolve global HR strategy, compensation, benefits and talent management with awareness of country norms and employment law regulations.
  • Lead, manage, and implement global human resources projects and initiatives.
  • Research, compile, and analyze workforce data, identify trends, and recommend solutions to improve internal processes and increase company-wide productivity.
  • Research and recommend software improvements and/or implementations to modernize current HR processes.
  • Serve as a trusted business partner to all stakeholders through value-added services, advice, and counsel.
  • Advise employees and management on the interpretation of global human resources policies, programs, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Lead the development and implementation of global employee engagement and retention programs.
  • Manage the research, development, and consistent implementation of programs aimed at embedded personnel, including the retention of global employee satisfaction for all employees.
  • Develop, implement, oversee, and communicate new hire onboarding, employee outreach, and rewards programs.
  • Participate in corporate DEI programs, as directed by Pinkerton's President.
  • Develop and oversee HR roundtables and/or on-going educational series with regional HR Directors and Managers.
  • Research, recommend, and develop new country benefit, policy, and compensation standards and coordinate implementation with local HR teams.
  • Partner with Global Talent Acquisition regarding the implementation of policies and programs within new hire workflows.
  • All other duties, as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) with fifteen or more years of broad human resources management experience including a global reach. Pinkerton is an inclusive employer who seeks candidates with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
