  • Implement and enhance current electronic trading capabilities.
  • Develop, enhance and support BlackRock's highly customized electronic trading platform for executing Equities, Futures, Options, FX and Fixed Income trades in global markets.
  • Design, coordinate, develop and integrate BlackRock's algorithmic and pattern-driven trading systems and act as the subject matter expert.
  • Integrate and manage BlackRock's engagement with external brokers, trading partners and counterparties.
  • Implement and manage global projects by partnering with trading team across multiple asset classes and trading research teams to build analytics and metrics by utilizing big data in financial market.
  • Participate and collaborate with BlackRock's Aladdin Product Team to integrate electronic trading functionalities with Aladdin platform.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of financial industry to deliver solutions to handle, manage and analyze full lifecycle of the trades.
  • Implement best-in-class solutions for trade execution using extensive knowledge of Financial Information eXchange (FIX) protocol.
  • Collaborate with non-trading teams including Trading Research and broader Trading and Market Structure teams to provide better insights, controls, risk management and innovation that helps achieve best execution and returns for BlackRock's clients.Qualifications:Master's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as a Vice President, IT Developer, Associate, Senior Software Engineer or related. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field or five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Vice President, IT Developer, Associate, Senior Software Engineer or related.
