We believe that when we do the right thing and embrace change, we will cultivate a world-class workplace and be the partner of choice for patients, their families, and our communities.Position OverviewReporting to the Senior Vice President of Operations - East, the Vice President of Operations will be the operations lead for our Kentucky and Tennessee businesses. This team member will operate in a dyad partnership with the Market Medical Directors of each state to ensure excellence in program execution and continually improve and refine our approach to managing frail and vulnerable patient populations in their homes. This role will be charged with improving current operational performance while also leading the accelerated growth and expansion of the business. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned operations leader who can establish strong provider and plan relationships and can build ground-up to steady state, in a fast-paced, scaling environment.ResponsibilitiesLead an interdisciplinary team - including clinicians and centralized teammates - across multiple, geographically distributed hubs. You will directly manage 4-6 direct reports and provide leadership to a team of 175-200 at scale.Exceed patient engagement targets, clinical metrics, and other contractual obligations in partnership with Market Medical Directors.Ensure successful expansions of the market in partnership with the business development and implementation teams.Lead growth and profitability activities in the market.Manage relationships with local health plan partners and provider organizations.Align strategic vision for the market with the organization's annual goals and articulate vision to staff to drive the attainment of those goals.Maintain and build upon ConcertoCare's culture for a rapidly scaling team.RequirementsA minimum of 5 years' experience leading care delivery organizations, health systems, or provider groups; experience in value-based care, home health, or multi-site operations a plus; candidates with a minimum of 10 years' experience in non-provider organizations within the healthcare industry (e.g. payor, public health, pharma) will be considered.Previous experience driving and growing P&L of at least $20M; >$40M a plus.Start-Up, market entry, and/or implementation experience a plus.Associate degree required; Bachelor's or Master's Degree in business or health-related field (MBA, MHA, MPH) preferred.Candidate must reside within 45 miles of Louisville, Lexington, or Nashville (i.e. our office locations).Up to 50% travel required between and within the markets.Ability and means to travel as needed in a timely manner to locations that may have limited access to public transportation; proof of liability and property damage insurance on vehicle used is required. DRIVER REQUIREMENTS: Licensed for a minimum of 5 years. No vehicle-related suspensions/reinstatements, DUI, reckless driving, or felony convictions within the last 7 years. Multiple violations and accidents within the last 5 years would be subject to review.Base Salary/ Wage Range: $165,000 to $185,000 plus annual bonus and stock options. Compensation for the role is commensurate with the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
