SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the overall safe, reliable, and efficient provision of ground handling services (above and below wing) for Cape Air, including customer service, aircraft servicing, fueling, baggage service, de-icing, training, auditing, and more. Oversees multiple directors, who in turn oversee dozens of stations and 200+ employees. Develops, implements, trains, and enforces policies and best practices PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee planning and execution of airport services operational processes, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate their incorporation into Cape Air manuals and training programs
- Develop and execute department budgets
- Create monthly and annual budgets for Cape Air stations; track and execute to those budgets
- Create templates and lead directors and station managers in staffing model application
- Manage contract services
- Maintain and enhance the Cape Air safety culture in all Airport Services operations
- Synthesize front-line feedback to create process mapping and productivity/efficiency enhancements for all stations
- Ensure stations manage their ground support equipment and fuel program
- Demonstrate the values of our company mission/vision by exhibiting kindness, teamwork, respect, and the spirit of MOCHA HAGoTDI in business relationships with our employees, customers, and industry partners
- Represent Cape Air to external parties such as airport working groups, the public, and VIPs
- Serve on the Senior Leadership Team
- Additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Competent with budgets
- Extensive knowledge of Airport Operations
- Management experience; Relevant degree a plus
- Experience with creating and maintaining business relationships
- Familiar with FAA, TSA, and other regulations pertinent to the job
- Knowledgeable in airport operations such as passenger service, ramp operations, fueling, etc.
- Good organizational skills
- Good customer service skills, able to work well with others Integrity
