Job Title: Vice President of Core Services

Location: Mission Bay (SF)

Shift: Days, 8 Hours

Department Description:

UCSF Health is seeking a Vice President of Core Services to lead shared clinical services across inpatient and ambulatory sites, including Lab, Pathology, Imaging, and Rehab Services. The leader will ensure all sites have the clinical teams and services needed to meet their quality and safety goals as well as operational needs. Responsibilities include:

This is a key leadership role reporting to the Chief Operating Officer of UCSF Health.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, health administration, or clinical degree and/or equivalent experience/training.
• Extensive executive management experience in a complex health care organization.
• Expert knowledge of health care delivery models, business and strategic planning, financial management, and organizational development.
• Highly advanced ability to work collaboratively with medical center executives and other stakeholders.
• Expert ability to establish and utilize metrics to drive excellence.
• Expert knowledge of capital and operating budget development and management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Expert negotiation and influencing skills.
• Highly advanced ability to build and maintain a climate of trust.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in business, health administration, or clinical degree preferred.
