We're seeking a dynamic and visionary Vice President of Girl Scout Experience to join our executive leadership team and help shape the future of Girl Scouts in our community.In this role, you'll have the exciting opportunity to drive innovative programs that engage and inspire Girl Scouts, focusing on outdoor adventure, STEM, entrepreneurship, and life skills. You'll lead high-impact initiatives that grow membership, ensure exceptional experiences, and champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in everything we do.What You'll Do
  • Partner with the CEO and executive leaders to design and execute strategic initiatives that align with our mission and drive engagement.
  • Lead efforts to enhance youth retention and develop/support programs that attract new Girl Scouts.
  • Champion the Girl Scout Leadership Experience by collaborating with volunteers and staff to remove barriers and maximize opportunities for all youth Girl Scouts.
  • Foster a culture of philanthropy, supporting fundraising efforts and building strong partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Inspire and develop a high-performing team, supporting staff growth and recognizing their achievements.
  • Ensure compliance and financial stewardship, driving product sales activities, program revenue, and the responsible use of resources to achieve organizational goals.Why This Role MattersAs the VP of Girl Scout Experience, you'll shape the future of Girl Scouts by providing young girls with opportunities to grow, learn, and lead.     • 13 years of total relevant education and experience, including strategic planning, HR fundamentals, conflict resolution, risk management, and budget oversight.
    • Five (5) years of experience supervising teams of at least four (4) staff.
    • Experience leading grant-funded programs and working with funders.
    • Program management with experience in curriculum development and delivery.
    • Experience with product sales, manufacturing, and/or distribution is highly preferred.
    • Experience in Girl Scouting is highly preferred.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead transformations and inspire team buy-in.
    • Ability to guide counterparts through difficult transitions to new processes, technologies, workflows, or situations.
    • Be a self-starter with a desire for continuous learning, taking on new challenges, and creating innovative solutions.
    • Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, some weekends, and occasional overnight trips.
    • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to meetings and events across Oregon and Southwest Washington.
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferred.The Details
      • Compensation - Exempt, starting at $108,750 to $130,500 per year, depending on qualifications. Plus, $2,600 per year for Spanish language skills at a conversational level or higher.
      • Benefits - We offer health, dental, life insurance, paid time off, and paid holidays. We also offer a retirement plan with a 3.5% employer contribution.
      • Hours - Full-time, business hours, with some flexibility. This role is expected to be actively engaged in the community, including attending events and meetings in the evenings and on weekends.
      • Location - Regular job duties can be performed remotely, in any of our Service Centers throughout Oregon, or in a hybrid setting.
