The Vice President of Landscape Construction will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team at RWNL, overseeing all aspects of the Landscape Construction division. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the Landscape Construction division, including revenue generation, customer acquisition, and service enhancement.
- Align divisional objectives with RWNL's long-term goals and Vivid Vision.
- Oversee pricing strategies to align with market trends and business profitability goals.
- Manage division budgets, forecasting, and financial performance.
- Procure and manage cutting-edge equipment to deliver high-quality services efficiently.
Driving Positive Labor Efficiency:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize crew productivity and reduce labor costs.
- Analyze labor metrics and provide actionable insights to improve efficiency.
- Implement workforce planning tools and technology to streamline scheduling and reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with field teams to identify challenges and introduce solutions that enhance on-site efficiency.
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within teams to maximize output.
Operational Leadership & Excellence:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of large commercial projects, including hardscapes, softscapes, irrigation systems, and full build & design projects.
- Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency and quality control, driving continuous improvement in all aspects of service delivery.
- Provide hands-on guidance and expertise in landscape construction techniques, estimating, and project management.
- Manage job cost analysis to ensure consistent profitability and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure operational decisions and processes align with RWNL's Vivid Vision strategy for growth and excellence.
Process Optimization & Safety
- Implement processes to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the highest quality of service.
- Enhance processes to increase labor efficiency rate across the division, ensuring optimal workforce utilization and productivity.
- Ensure the team's technical knowledge remains at the forefront of industry trends and best practices.
- Oversee regulatory compliance and implement safety programs to uphold the highest standards of environmental stewardship and worker safety.
Financial Oversight
- Lead divisional budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization.
- Manage budgets, resources, and timelines to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Collaborate with finance teams to monitor P&L performance and drive profitability
Team Leadership and Development
- Build and maintain a high-performing team culture, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent within the organization.
- Mentor staff to develop their capabilities in estimating and execution.

Client & Stakeholder Relations:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring alignment with client needs and the consistent delivery of high-quality services.

Strategic Growth:
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand RWNL's market share in landscape construction.

- Proficiently utilize RWNL's operations software and ERP Aspire System to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and drive data-informed decisions.
- Build trust and collaboration with leaders, team members, and clients through strong relationship management.
- Assess and optimize current processes, creating actionable improvement plans for long-term success.
- Successfully deliver large-scale commercial projects on time and within budget, ensuring profitability.
- Recruit, onboard, and mentor top talent, building a pipeline of future leaders.
- Implement safety programs to reduce incidents and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Focus on financial performance through effective budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
- Strengthen client relationships to foster satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering (Civil or Environmental), or a related field is required.
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 10 years in operations leadership, with expertise in landscape construction, including managing large commercial projects, hardscapes, softscapes, irrigation, and design-build initiatives.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge in estimating, project execution, irrigation systems, and landscape construction techniques, with the ability to adapt and grow from a solid foundation.
- Business Acumen: Demonstrated success in growing revenue and managing financials at the divisional level, including budgeting and P&L oversight.
- Problem-Solving: Positive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to address operational and client challenges effectively.
