Purpose of Position
The purpose of this position is to provide leadership and management for all credit and non-credit instructional programs and services at the College and to oversee the Quality departments and initiatives in accordance with established internal, state and federal rules and regulations. Serves as a member of Executive Council.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Direct and lead the development, delivery, assessment and evaluation of quality instructional programs.
* Lead and manage the direction of Institutional Research and Resource Development, College Effectiveness, Internal Communications, the Branch Campuses, and the Title III Program
* Direct the evaluation of instructional programming and curriculum to ensure effective use of human and capital resources.
* Direct recruitment, selection, orientation, professional development and evaluation of faculty and departmental staff.
* Develop, implement and maintain instructional strategic plan, standards, policies, and procedures.
* Coordinate work between departments and specialized programs; review work and maintain compliance with program regulations.
* Provide innovative leadership in adapting to changing educational technologies.
* Develop strong partnerships to enhance programs and services.
* Resolve issues involving faculty and students.
* Develop department budget; allocates budget resources; monitors expenditures and income.
* Represent the College at political and social events in the absence of or in conjunction with the WITCC President.
* Create a team atmosphere and provide leadership in developing systems to improve communication and promote College-wide cooperative working relationships.
* Use database and software applications to create and manage files and communicate requested information, maintaining confidentiality.
* Assist customers in person, by mail, email, and over the telephone.
* Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Required Qualifications
Doctorate degree and experience in related field.
Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications Physical Demands
Light physical effort required for office work may include movement of job-related objects and materials. Ability to operate motor vehicle, office machines and other equipment in the performance of duties. Some tasks require visual perception and discrimination.
Salary $131,665.00 Position Category Administration Position Type FT Hours Per Week 40 Grade/Level 17 Work Schedule
