Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Media Operations to oversee and enhance our Ad Operations team and Creative Design Team. This executive role is crucial in driving high performance, operational excellence, and innovation across these teams. The ideal candidate will enable the President to focus on larger strategic initiatives by ensuring smooth operations, fostering a high-performance culture, and delivering outstanding results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Lead and inspire the Ad Operations and Creative Design team.
  • Mentor team members, including the current Senior Manager of Ad Operations, to strengthen leadership skills and boost team performance.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement aligned with our core values.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support team growth.
  • Keep the team updated on industry news, marketing trends, new tools, and insights from other teams.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of all client campaigns, ensuring they are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
  • Improve operational processes across departments to increase efficiency.
  • Implement the best practices in media operations, campaign management, and creative design.
  • Ensure the team is skilled in all aspects of campaign management, from planning to optimization.
  • Manage a high volume of accounts and large-scale client programs effectively and independently.
  • Monitor important performance metrics to make informed decisions based on data.

Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Work with the executive team to develop and implement strategies that align with company goals.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and innovative solutions to enhance our services.
  • Collaborate with client teams to ensure best practices are followed and brainstorm new ways to achieve client goals.
  • Support sales efforts by providing clear and strategic insights to senior leaders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to keep the company at the forefront of digital marketing.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Serve as a senior point of contact for high-level client interactions related to operations.
  • Ensure clients are highly satisfied by delivering top-quality campaigns and creative work.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and account management teams to support client retention and acquisition strategies.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets for the Ad Operations and Creative Design departments.
  • Allocate resources efficiently to maximize return on investment.
  • Monitor departmental expenses and implement cost-saving measures when appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or similar advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience:
  • At least 10 years of experience in digital media agencies or ad technology platforms, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Hands-on experience with Paid Social Platforms like Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat, and LinkedIn Ads.
  • Experience using Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs) for Video & Display advertising (e.g., Google's DV360, Xandr/AppNexus, Verizon/Oath, The Trade Desk).
  • Proven track record in developing digital media strategies and plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively, recognizing that individual success contributes to team and client success.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (able to perform advanced functions) and PowerPoint.
  • Familiar with marketing automation tools and advertising platforms
  • Leadership Skills:
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive positive organizational changes.
  • Experience in managing, developing, and hiring team members.
  • Ability to think strategically and turn ideas into actionable plans for the team.
  • Analytical & Strategic Thinking:
  • Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and make strategic recommendations.
  • Successful history of developing and executing plans that drive growth.
  • Communication Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Skilled in client management and consultative selling.
  • Comfortable interacting with all levels of management, including executives, to advocate and influence direction.
