About the Role
The Company is excited to invite applications for the role of Vice President of Product Development. In this pivotal position, you will be at the forefront of shaping the product vision and strategy for our digital media offerings. Your expertise will guide the entire product development lifecycle—from initial concept through to launch—ensuring an exceptional user experience that fuels audience growth, engagement, and revenue generation.
As a leader in this role, you will manage a talented team of product managers and UI/UX professionals, fostering effective communication and collaboration with all key stakeholders. Your ability to articulate and gain buy-in for the product roadmap will be essential to driving our success. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including editorial, engineering, marketing, and sales, to deliver outstanding products and experiences that set us apart in the market.
We are looking for candidates with 10-15 years of product management experience, particularly in digital media, B2C technology, or related sectors, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of launching and scaling digital media and B2C technology products, coupled with a deep understanding of the media landscape, user behavior, and emerging technologies.
Key characteristics of the ideal candidate include a strategic mindset, strong emotional intelligence, and proficiency in product development frameworks. You will be expected to leverage data analytics to transparently measure and analyze the impact of product initiatives. Collaboration with the VP of Data Analytics and SVP of Engineering will be crucial in fostering a high-velocity, data-driven, and results-oriented agile development process.
A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related analytical field is preferred, with an advanced degree being an advantage.
