Vice President of Risk & AnalyticsPosition Summary:The Vice President of Analytics is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the company's data management systems, reporting, and analytic functions. This individual is a subject matter expert in data analytics, staying informed about industry standards and best practices. Reporting to the Executive Leadership team, the VP of Analytics advises Senior Management on risk and analytics-driven matters, helping to shape the company's strategic direction through data insights.Essential Functions:Data Strategy & Implementation: Develop and implement a comprehensive data insight strategy that drives business value, including analytics and business intelligence.Data Analysis & Interpretation: Utilize a range of techniques to analyze and interpret data, providing actionable insights that support profitable growth.Consultation with Leadership: Collaborate with Senior and Executive Leadership to develop analyses that lead to strategic decisions and business growth.Reporting: Compile detailed reports, charts, and tables based on established statistical methods to present to stakeholders.Data Model Design: Create data models that align with the organization's information systems and business needs.Predictive Modeling: Identify opportunities to develop and forecast statistical models, segmentation schemes, and data-driven analyses to improve customer outcomes and drive value.Project Management: Oversee the lifecycle of data studies, technology evaluations, and market analyses related to analytics projects.Innovation & Experimentation: Continuously explore new data sources, tools, and techniques to innovate and develop new business capabilities.Business & IT Process Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of business and IT processes, making recommendations for necessary changes in cross-departmental projects.Team Leadership: Build, develop, and mentor a high-performance analytics team focused on addressing business needs and driving results.Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field required; Master's Degree preferred.Experience:10+ years of experience in financial services or Information Technology.8+ years of experience in analytics, particularly in data organization.Proven experience working with big data sets, data mining, and forecasting.Experience in the financial industry and team leadership is a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
