Job Summary and QualificationsThe Trauma Program Vice President provides direction for a multidisciplinary trauma service. The primary focus is implementing and monitoring systems to enhance care of the trauma patient. You will work in collaboration with the Trauma Medical Director to promote the goals of the Trauma Program, qualify all care issues regarding the program development, and optimize patient care. Program development is key to the success of this role. You will be responsible for the oversight of trauma related activities, and initiate changes to promote optimal care. You will act as an agent to the Trauma Medical Director and Administration, to ensure compliance with all hospital, local, state and American College of Surgeons requirements. This position maintains responsibility for 24-hour/day management.
