Location: This position can be based in one of the following locations: Scottsdale, AZ; Chicago, IL; Las Vegas, NV; Stamford, CT

Job Type: Full-Time/ Exempt

About the Role: The Vice President (VP) of People & Culture (P&C) will support Shared Services, Commercial Sales, and Operations teams, reporting to the Executive Vice President of People & Culture. This role focuses on advancing talent management strategies and modernizing Human Resources (HR) practices in areas like performance management, team engagement, Diversity & Inclusion, and talent development. Passionate about delivering an exceptional employee experience, the VP partners closely with leaders and team members to foster a positive, high-performing culture. This role requires frequent travel, with up to 60-80% travel expected.

What Youll Do:

  • Serve as a strategic P&C partner, aligning group needs with organizational priorities.
  • Develop and refine P&C strategies to enhance performance and maintain a strong culture.
  • Collaborate with leaders on employee relations, performance management, and recognition.
  • Lead change management initiatives, including communication, training, and effectiveness tracking.
  • Oversee P&C programs, processes, and policies across the employee lifecycle.
  • Analyze key HR metrics to inform solutions, policies, and workforce strategies.
  • Advise on workforce planning, restructures, succession planning, and goal setting.
  • Drive performance, compensation, and promotion cycles to uphold high standards.
  • Travel: Up to 60-80%.

What Youll Bring:

  • Bachelors degree in HR or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years in HR leadership, with expertise in partnering with executives, employee relations, performance/talent management, policy implementation, and compliance.
  • 5+ years managing teams and projects as an HR Business Partner.
  • Strong leadership, change management, and organizational development skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Adaptability and agility in a fast-paced environment.

Even Better If:

  • Masters degree in HR or Business Administration.
  • HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR).
  • Experience with HR technology and data analytics tools.
  • Multi-state or cannabis industry experience.
