Job Title: Vice President, Sourcing & ProductionCompany/Industry: Well-established national brand apparel company. Their business is full collection sportswear, encompassing men's and women's.Location: New York, NY 10001Salary: $175-200K/yr Commensurate with experience + benefitsStatus: Direct hire, FT, On-Site (not remote)Our client is looking for a seasoned sourcing/production VP, with experience producing and exporting all classifications of sportswear, to become part of their team. This person should have broad relationships with factories (globally) and be able to manage the entire production process.This position reports directly to the division President.•Manage all aspects of sportswear and outerwear garment sourcing & production •Lead, oversee & further develop existing production, sourcing team and QC•Negotiate cost, delivery & payment terms•Partner with current vendors & develop trustworthy new suppliers, globally•Ensure product standards including product testing and customer required inspections•Work closely with internal production team and manage QC team to ensure product quality•Coordinate deliveries & shipping with internal operations department•Work closely with compliance team to ensure factory compliance per customer requirementsRequirements:• Prior experience producing goods for large retailers such as Costco, Wal-Mart, Macy's, etc.• Prior Wholesale Production/Sourcing experience a must• Prior experience working with duty free countries as well as emerging countries• International travel as needed• Must have outerwear and sportswear experienceCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $175,000.00 - $200,000.00 Per YearJob SummaryJob number: 541098Date posted : 2024-08-22Profession: ManagementEmployment type: Direct Hire
