As the Vice President of Strategic Finance, you'll lead a team which steers strategic finance within Jacobs and works closely with the strategy and growth team to help deliver 5-year Jacobs plan. In this fast-paced environment, you'll navigate and overcome challenges, paving the way for you and your team to experience continued success and growth. You'll partner to drive the implementation of the long-term strategy including long term financial modeling, measuring KPIs to ensure delivery of strategic commitments, competitive analysis, incentive planning and critical enterprise-wide projects that would drive value for our cross-functional stakeholders. Your industry knowledge and expertise will help you identify trends and, accordingly, make recommendations for continued growth, process improvement, cost savings and dynamic transformation. Developing and delivering timely business analysis, you'll help evaluate, prioritize capital investments, and track progress against the plans. Outside of day to day, you will be immersed in and lead variety of special strategic projects from time to time that will enhance Jacobs shareholder value. This high visibility role will interact directly with Jacobs senior leadership including the ELT as well as outside consultants/advisors.

This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President, Finance, Treasury and Corporate Development and will ideally be based at Jacobs world headquarters in Dallas, Texas but it is open to other locations.

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

- Advanced, progressive experience in FP&A, Finance or Strategy

- Advanced P&L and financial modeling skills

- Proven Leadership capabilities and experience managing teams

- Prior strategic planning and long-term planning experience

- Extensive experience in competitive analysis

- Proven track record of providing executive and senior management support and working with outside advisors

- Established experience in supporting central corporate functions as well as Lines of Businesses/Business Units; Business partnership is critical

- Expert-level analytical and problem-solving skills; must be able to proactively engage financial data to make recommendations

- Ability to convey financial results to non-finance team members

- Proven ability to effectively handle change

- Outstanding Excel and Microsoft Office skills

- Experience with Hyperion Financial Management and Oracle Planning, or similar

Ideally, you'll also have:

- MBA or other advanced post-graduate degree

- Experience with Automation and ERP implementations
