Department: Ballpark EntertainmentReports to: Director, MarketingClassification: Full-Time/ExemptSummaryThe Video Editor and Motion Graphics Coordinator is a full-time position, who reports to the Marketing Director. This position will serve as the Hooks primary video creator for in-stadium, online and TV.Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.VIDEO CREATION
  • Produce, shoot, and edit Hooks video projects including:
    • TV & web commercials
    • Player features
    • Highlight packages
    • Promotional/marketing videos
    • Pump-up videos
  • Create graphics for in-stadium video board including:
    • Headshots
    • Sponsor graphics
    • Fan prompts
MARKETING
  • Collaborate with marketing team on creative ideas and promotions
  • Assist with creation of social media graphics
  • Maintain and organize Hooks video archive
MISCELLANEOUS DUTIES
  • Assist with both game & non-game events
  • Participate in tarp duties
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing or related field of equivalent and related work experience
  • At least 1+ years of related experience with a professional sports team preferred
  • Must be proficient in Final Cut Pro X/Adobe Premiere
  • Must be proficient in After Effects
  • Experience in graphic design (Photoshop/Illustrator) is a plus
  • Professional experience in a creative setting
  • Must possess an excellent design sense
  • Bilingual (Spanish) skills are a plus
  • Detail oriented and deadline driven
  • Knowledge of baseball and pop culture
  • Desire to stay updated on current video trends
  • Ability to work long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Overall positive attitude and outlook
Work EnvironmentPosition will work in an office and stadium environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The noise level is usually moderate but can be loud within the stadium environment.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and focused vision. Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with adjusted schedule in alignment with games. Due to the nature of this position, the position requires hours of work and days that include frequent nights, weekends and holidays.
