Job Description:
The Syracuse Crunch are seeking a full-time, in-house Video Producer to assist in creating and editing compelling content for the team's digital media platforms, in-arena scoreboard and television broadcasts. This position will also be responsible for filming all interviews and team events along with certain practices and community appearances.In addition to creative content, the Video Producer will assist in producing sponsored videos for use on social media and television broadcasts. The applicant will also create promotional content to drive ticket sales, including season ticket packages, flex packages and individual game tickets.The applicant will work under the direction of the Vice President of Communications & Digital Media.Responsibilities:- Capture and edit video content from home games, practices, community appearances, media availabilities and more for use on the official team website, social media channels and television broadcasts- Conceptualize, capture, produce and edit creative content projects for the Syracuse Crunch digital platforms, television broadcasts and in-arena scoreboard- Produce sponsored videos to assist in meeting partner obligations- Attend sponsor, community and youth hockey appearances to promote team and partner community outreach efforts- Shoot and produce interview segments in conjunction with the Crunch broadcaster- Produce short-form video content for social media channels- Create behind-the-scenes video content to highlight Crunch athletes- Assist in the production of Crunch promotional videos- Manage the Crunch video archive and file organization- Work all home games along with some away games and additional events as necessary- Perform other duties as assignedRequirements:- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university- At least one year of experience in video production and video editing- Expert knowledge of shooting with professional cameras- Expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere; knowledge of entire Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and After Effects a plus- Knowledge of production elements including lighting, audio and camera setup- Fundamental understanding of entire production process (pre-production, shooting, post-production) - Understanding of the rules of ice hockey; experience in sports preferred, but not necessary - Strong creative, organizational and interpersonal skills- Travel for game coverage with team when necessary- Ability to work independently while also collaborating in a team dynamicAdditional requirements: Cover Letter and link or file to portfolio of past workWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.Job Questions:
