$750 Hiring Bonus for new Team Members plus $60 in gas gift cards during our onboarding process. Additional $1 per hour for hours worked from 6pm to 6am!A profit-sharing bonus is paid out multiple times a year when financial goals are met, double pay on holidays, 25¢ off per gallon of gas at our gas station, and a generous Paid Time Off policy where you can earn up to 18 days in your first year of employment!Deliver exceptional food and beverage hospitality to our VIP Guests with personalized and professional service.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* Responsible for the proper setup and tear down of food, beverages, and necessary supplies for dinner service in the VIP Services Lounge.* Assists in placing food & drink orders, facilitates the preparation and delivery of food and drinks to guests, and collaborates with kitchen staff to coordinate order preparation to ensure seamless service delivery.* Assesses VIP patron's needs to provide proactive and personalized* Maintains accurate cash handling practices while efficiently serving guests.* Uphold compliance with food safety standards, alcohol service regulations, and casino policies at all times. Keeps updated on casino events and operations.* Always maintains a warm and friendly demeanor.* Performs any general cleaning duties using standard safety procedures and practices & maintains a clean and well-stocked workstation.* Resolves service problems according to guidelines, and seeks supervisor or managerial intervention when appropriate.* Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner.* Performs the duties of a Food Server, Host, or Server Assistant in the Buffet, Steakhouse, and Banquets as needed.* Other duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:Required* Must be 18 years of age.* High School diploma or equivalent.* Read, write legibly, understand, and speak English.* Excellent customer service/communication skills.* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.* Must possess basic mathematic proficiency and have the ability to count money and change correctly.* Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.* Must meet professional appearance standards as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook.* A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment.Preferred* Basic knowledge of tray service and cocktail ingredients.PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:* Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation.* Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.* Must be able to reach above and below the shoulder, grip small items (i.e., pens, money, garnishes), bend, and stoop while serving cocktails.* Must be able to stand and walk for up to four hours.* Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, bright lights.* Able to work at a fast pace in an often crowded/noisy environment.* Must be able to meet the level three or medium work requirements based on the Department of Labor Dictionary of Titles: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly.Indian Preference ExercisedPrairie Band Casino & Resort reserves the right to make changes to the above job descriptions whenever necessary.
