The Virtual Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales of Virbac products within a designated territory. Using the PETS sales model and effective territory management, the Virtual Sales Representative aims to deliver an outstanding customer experience while maximizing sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and maintain strong relationships with targeted veterinary practices to support and grow Virbac's business with each customer.
- Identify customer needs, uncover opportunities, and make strategic recommendations to meet sales goals.
- Execute quarterly POA's with each customer to achieve reach and frequency targets.
- Demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge of Virbac's product offerings.
- Lead new product launches and brand initiatives in targeted accounts.
- Meet activity expectations, including consistent sales call engagement.
Key Competencies:- Communication Skills: Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Problem-Solving: Skillful in identifying and strategically resolving customer challenges.
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledgeable in the Companion Animal market, including customers and product offerings.
- Digital Agility: Capable of excelling in a virtual environment with tools like Google Suite, Power BI, Salesforce, and Virbac systems.
Qualifications and Requirements:- Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) required
- 4+ years of work experience in animal health or veterinary industry; or inside sales experience in a related industry
- Ability and willingness to travel as required by the position including occasional overnight travel
