PensionBee is scaling quickly, and we're looking for a Visual Designer to help us create impactful, engaging visuals that resonate with customers and enhance our brand in the U.S. market.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our Visual Design and Marketing teams, including our newly established US team based in New York, creating marketing materials and assets that resonate with our new US audience, helping to drive our marketing efforts and raise our brand awareness. We're seeking a versatile designer capable of creating beautiful, engaging creatives in a variety of mediums including web pages, social media assets, ad campaigns, printware and video, using Figma, Adobe and Webflow. Working with our Head of Visual Design, you'll play a key role in defining the visual language of our brand and ensuring consistency across all digital platforms.

Key responsibilities

Develop and deliver high-quality visual assets that meet business and marketing needs across projects for social media, digital campaigns, online and print advertising.

Design and build responsive websites and landing pages using Webflow (or similar), ensuring seamless user experiences and visual alignment with UX standards.

Create visually compelling assets and videos to support marketing campaigns, with strong attention to layout, color, typography, and iconography.

Collaborate with designers, marketeers, brand and comms and third-party agencies to ensure visual consistency and alignment with user experience best practices.

Generate storyboards, wireframes and mock-ups to communicate design concepts; contribute to the design system with icons, images and other visual elements.

Contribute to our design system with icons, image assets, templates and style guides for effective team use.

Participate in design reviews and feedback sessions to continually improve design quality.

Stay up-to-date with design trends and emerging technologies to keep our visual assets fresh and innovative and enhance the overall user experience.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have an appropriate combination of the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Visual Communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Visual Design or related creative role.
  • Comfortable presenting ideas to stakeholders, with strong written and verbal English skills.
  • Experience with web design building tools (e.g. Webflow or similar) and a basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
  • Proficient in design and video software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and Figma (or similar tools).
  • Expertise in typographical hierarchy, arranging text and creating balanced, readable layouts.
  • Bring high quality and great attention to detail across everything that you do.
  • Capability to address design challenges with creative solutions.
  • Maintain brand guardianship by ensuring consistency and a cohesive identity across all visual assets.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and manage workloads efficiently.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external agencies to ensure cohesive design.
