Job Description:
On-Board PMO is hiring Production Operators in Stow! Type: Permanent Full Time Location: Stow, OH Compensation: $18.50 per hour Benefits: Eligible for full benefits package after 60 days Schedule: Rotating 12-hr shift (Only 14 days per Month!) For a limited time, we are offering a $1,000 Sign-On Bonus!! Basic Function: Visual Inspectors shall uphold the Client Stow Visual Quality Department systems and requirements to assure that the final release of products and parts comply with exact customer requests and specifications. Quality of inspection is very important! Responsibilities: include the following (other duties may be assigned).
  • Evaluates and reviews cell specific visual criteria and monitors compliance with customer specifications
  • Makes recommendations to management personnel, based on this information
Organization Relationships: Works regularly with shift production employees as well as leadership throughout the Client and Contract Groups. Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of manufacturing experience
  • Must be able to complete a background check, drug test, and physical successfully
  • Inspector candidates need visual process experience
  • Quality knowledge training to make appropriate business-based decisions.
  • Visual Inspectors must meet a minimum of 20 hours visual training to meet the cell standard.
  • In addition, candidates need a visual inspection background, along with inspection skills that may include the ability to use gages, micrometers, and optical comparators
  • Candidates must also have experience in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T)
  • Blueprint reading
  • Knowledge of Quality audits associated with the aerospace industry.
  • CMM knowledge on aerospace parts is a plus, with close working tolerance of plus or minus .0002 on parts.
  • Basic computer skills, including knowledge of SPC and Excel is very helpful.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and sit.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds/55 max.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
