The opportunity
We are seeking a Manager, Brand Environment & Merchandising that will lead Delaware North's food and beverage environments in multiple assigned line of business. A true creative leader who can adapt aesthetically to meet the diverse needs of our clients and the brands we represent and is able to work well both independently and within a multi-disciplinary collaborative team. If you have visual operations experience, ideally in a restaurant or retail setting, and you possess an artistic eye, creative mind and operational acumen. Primary responsibilities include establishing and implementing a corporate visual image standard for all locations while allowing a style adaptation appropriate for each unique location.
In this role, you'll work very closely with field operations, culinary, and the entire brand environments and merchandising team as well as regional and local managers, providing superior attention to detail and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. What will you do?
Supports VP/Directors of Food and Beverage and team with overarching environmental /visual merchandising strategy and floor plan decision making.
Solicit feedback regarding visual presentation in units and plan action accordingly.
Travel to units and assess field opportunities in venues to measure the effectiveness of presentations; share ideas and feedback regularly with all members of visual team, brainstorm sessions, and/or unit site visits.
Specify and source: furniture, smallwares (china, glass, silver) napkin applications, art, lighting (when needed), merchandising fixtures, sign holders, and specialty décor.
Reinforce best practices and identify opportunities to increase productivity and eliminate redundancy.
Ensure compliance of travel budgets.
Assist in fixture/product rollout processes.
Support new openings and events.
Leadership and Development:
Conduct training sessions in the field to ensure current and future merchandising direction is communicated and presentation skill sets are developed in the District Manager/Store Manager population in a structured format.
Partner closely with the subsidiary and field leadership on merchandising initiatives and expectations.
Establish, demonstrate, and communicate high professional standards and hold team members accountable.
Build constructive, effective relationships throughout the company to align support for all Brand Environments & Merchandising and brand initiatives.
Develop and nurture strong cross functional partnerships, driving business results and inspiring a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability.
Identify and develop talent that delivers performance excellence.
Act as a liaison between Creative Services and other shared services departments.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Balance a strong management presence with a high level of approachability, encouraging and eliciting associate feedback and interaction.
Lead and coach others remotely via email and phone calls to provide feedback and solutions for merchandising opportunities

More about you
Bachelor's degree preferred in Fine Art, Design, or Interior Design/Architecture
Excellent presentation and merchandising skills with ability to interpret brand direction.
3-6 years' experience with a design agency, hospitality, or retail company
Proven ability to facilitate visual presentation training and to work effectively with all levels of management.
Proven ability to work independently and remotely, exceptional organization and communication skills, solution oriented.
Ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and personalities efficiently and effectively and demonstrate the ability to influence.
Excellent communication, verbal, written and presentation skills.
Detail oriented, excellent time management with strong sense of urgency.
Working knowledge and ability to use tools, fixture systems, lighting, props, mannequins.
Fuency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) – AutoCAD or REVIT a plus
Ability to travel 40-60% of the time.
Experience in a creative industry with a well-developed sense of fashion and trends.
