The Opportunity
This position works out of our Alameda, CA location in the Diabetes Care division where we're focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We're revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.
As a Visual Product Designer, you will help shape and refine the aesthetic vision of our products, transforming complex ideas into clean, accessible, and visually compelling experiences. You'll collaborate across teams, turning concepts into detailed, polished interfaces that tell a story through design. What You'll Work On
Craft intuitive, elegant, and responsive UI designs across mobile, web, and other devices
Work closely with other designers, product managers, researchers, marketers and engineers to ensure solutions are simple, and scalable, while maintaining design integrity.
Build and maintain design systems that foster consistency and efficiency while allowing creativity to thrive.
Stay ahead of how the field of product design is evolving, bringing fresh ideas and effective approaches to every project.
Prototype and iterate based on feedback, focusing on the smallest of details to perfect interactions and visuals.
Ensure every pixel has purpose, delivering visual work that aligns with the brand and speaks to users on an emotional level.
Lead design critiques and engage directly with our audiences to continuously receive feedback and refine your work.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Design / Human Factors or related field plus minimum of 4 years related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.
A strong portfolio that demonstrates a high level of visual craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Ability to translate business goals and audience needs into impactful visual designs, from concept to final execution.
Strong prototyping and animation skills, at different levels of fidelity
Driven by a passion for making experiences more engaging, intuitive, and visually appealing and defining how it should look and behave like
A deep understanding of design fundamentals and a sophisticated design sensibility, shaped by a deep curiosity for both design and the world around you, and continuously seeking inspiration from diverse sources.
Experience in creating, evolving and maintaining design systems to ensure cohesion across platforms.
Expertise in usability and accessibility, ensuring every design is inclusive and functional for all users.
Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively articulating your design rationale to a wide range of stakeholders.

The base pay for this position is $109,300.00 – $218,500.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
