- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of casino equipment including; Two-way radio with earpiece and microphone, 10-key adding machine, and jackpot/fill ticket printer.
- Maintain compliance of all aspects of the Silver Reef Casino internal controls.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with all aspects of the Silver Reef Casino Gaming Commission.
- Maintain clear an open communications with guests and managers/supervisors.
- Evaluate operating procedures, recommend changes and implement-approved changes.
- Be knowledgeable with all aspects of the Silver Reef Casino Players' Club Card and encourage guest participation.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas.
- Perform job functions of additional positions as necessary.
- Report to work as scheduled and follow the break schedule as posted/notified.
- Respond to and open tilted slot machines to determine if maintenance or a fill is required.
- Complete minor maintenance on slot machines.
- Complete maintenance write-up for slot machines that require a slot technician.
- Complete the Attendant Card every time a slot machine is opened.
- Print fill tickets and process with appropriate signatures.
- Fill machines as required.
- Respond to slot machines with jackpots and determine if the jackpot is valid.
- Calculate jackpots amounts for jackpots not registering on the CDS system.
- Process jackpot and fill tickets manually when the CDS system is not functioning.
- Print jackpot tickets and process with appropriate signatures.
- Obtain customer identification and complete appropriate and relevant tax forms to include:w2G, 1042, 1001 and W9.
- Adhere to Title 31 reporting requirements and make the necessary postings.
- Circulate throughout assigned area, keeping conversations with co-workers and other team members to a minimum.
- Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
- Maintain confidentiality of pertinent casino data and guests.
- Be knowledgeable about the Silver Reef Casino's services, features, attractions, promotions and special events to respond accurately to guest/team member' inquiries.
- Be familiar with the CDS slot system.
- Notify your supervisor if you need assistance, require additional help or observe suspicious activity.
- Be completely knowledgeable about the basic functions of slot machines.
- Count down and secure change banks when required.
Physical/Mental Requirements:
- Must possess the ability to access all areas of the property with some instances in a rapid manner.
- Must be able to speak and write fluently in the English language.
- Requires the ability to maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure when dealing with difficult situations and meeting deadlines.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods and to frequently bend, reach and kneel.
- Maintain a professional, well-groomed appearance, adhering to the Silver Reef Casino appearance standards.
- Requires use of a two-way radio including earpiece and microphone.
- Requires manual dexterity to use a personal computer and other office equipment.
- Ability to lift multiple fills, coin bags, cans of coins and carry them to various locations throughout the casino. Approximate: Up to 100 pounds.
- Must be able to manually open and close a slot machine door with multiple latches that turn as the door is lifted to open Regular, predictable attendance required.
- Must have the manual dexterity to handle small hand tools.
Working conditions:
- Work is performed on the casino floor in areas that may be unusually hot, cold noisy, smoky and/or poorly lighted.
