Home Repairs for Good's mission is to help older adults and individuals with disabilities age in place safely and with dignity. We do this by providing home repairs at no cost to the homeowner. By being that home repair partner for older adults, we contribute to the stabilization of our communities by enabling pillars of the community who have helped build their neighborhoods remain as they age. Since our founding in 2013, we have completed more than 5,000 home repairs for more than 1,500 homeowners. For one year, you can be instrumental in helping us build our capacity through improving processes, procedures, and strengthening the logistics of our operations, particularly when and where we utilize volunteers for home repairs. Member Duties : The Volunteer & Donor Engagement Vista member creates, documents and implements a plan for volunteer to donor engagement, tracking and recognition in order to increase the overall volunteer experience and move them to a more engaged volunteer or donor with strong connection to our mission. Each strategy should be well documented and evaluated to ensure sustainability beyond your service.
