DescriptionAre you highly effective in working objectively with a diverse group of people, groups and organizations? Addison Community Action, a program of CVOEO, has an opening for a part time Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Site Coordinator. In this role you will coordinate and organize theoverall effort for the VITA Tax Program, which offers free tax preparation services to low-to-moderate income Vermonters. You will provide direct services such as: intake and eligibility screening, assist with completing and submitting applications and forms for various services and programs, and provide referrals to other programs and agencies.RequirementsBachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline plus two years of community service experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. Accounting and/or income tax preparation experience are highly desirable. Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Office and computer applications (database, e-mail, Internet...), bilingual skills are a plus.CVOEO is interested in candidates who can contribute to our diversity and excellence.
