Position Summary

The Volunteer will assist the assigned department by providing support for various activities, events, and projects. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain experience and contribute to the university community while developing skills in a dynamic, educational environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and organizing documents.

* Support the planning and execution of university events and activities.

* Provide assistance with communications, such as answering phones, emails, or inquiries related to the department.

* Collaborate with staff to ensure the smooth operation of department initiatives.

* Help maintain a clean and organized work environment.

* Assist in greeting visitors and students, providing information or directions as needed.

* Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to meet departmental needs.

Qualifications

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain professionalism.

* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is a plus.

* Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

* A willingness to learn and take initiative.

* Must be at least 18 years old (or with parental consent for minors).

* Previous volunteer experience is a plus but not required.

Time Commitment

* Volunteers are expected to commit to hours per week based on the division assigned.

* Flexibility in schedule is available, depending on the department's needs.
