As a volunteer, you are treated by local, state, and federal law as being an unpaid employee of the agency in which you are associated with. Therefore, you must conduct yourself in the same manner you would your own job. In the same respect, you will receive the same treatment, aside from compensation and benefits, as the employees of the Granville Exempted Village School District.Volunteers will be asked to assist with a variety of school based tasks. Examples of tasks may include lunch or recess duty, filing, cutting, copying, athletics, etc. Minimum Requirements:
- A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
- Comply with board policies.
- Complete compliance training for health, safety and FERPA.
- Conduct self in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner at all times.
- Ability to work in both a hands-on, team environment, and independently.
