According to Texas Education Code, Section 22.083, Pearland ISD may obtain criminal history record information on an individual who has indicated, in writing, an intention to serve as a volunteer. Completion of the online volunteer registration qualifies as written intent to serve as a volunteer at a designated Pearland ISD campus a release to conduct a criminal background information check. Criminal information obtained is confidential and used only for ensuring student safety. Steps to Become a Pearland ISD Volunteer:

Complete an online application with Frontline Recruit and Hire applicant-tracking system. Select the job opening for Volunteers 2024-2025 - Indicate the campus/campuses in which you plan to volunteer.

The review process could take up to 5-7 business days. Please act in a timely manner if you plan to attend an event on a certain date.

You will receive an email once your application has completed processing and your information will appear on the district approved volunteer/chaperone/mentor list.

Volunteers must re-apply each school year - applications are valid July 1 - June 30.
