The VP, Corporate Controller is is responsible for the core operational aspects of our accounting and controls who collaborates cross-functionally and will act as a people manager, overseeing the financial operations and reporting across my client's global operations. My client empowers their customers to deliver proactive, predictive, and hyper personalized experiences to deepen their customer connection across every market or channel, while also improving employee productivity and engagement.*Description*The VP, Corporate Controller is responsible for:* Lead, continue to develop, and improve the global close processes for an exciting, rapidly growing SaaS company* Oversee the preparation and analysis of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual close and reporting efforts. Coordinate with internal and external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits* Work with the revenue team to ensure accurate and compliant revenue recognition across various software product offerings, including SaaS offerings, and term licenses, in line with ASC 606 standards and related interpretations* Oversee and optimize internal controls to ensure SOX compliance and coordinate with internal and external auditors as it relates to controls testing and evaluation of exceptions* Assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential threats to the company's financial stability and growth* Set the standards as a guiding professional and advisor for increased levels of employee job satisfaction and employee engagement through the development and mentoring of the accounting team* GAAP/non-GAAP, subsequent events, and adoption of new pronouncements* Oversee accounting integration and valuation for mergers & acquisitions*Profile*The Successful Candidate will have a:* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance* Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required* Minimum of 15 years relevant work experience with at least 6 years at a Big 4 accounting firm* Progressive substantive experience in finance and accounting stakeholder roles, preferably in a public software or technology company* Experience with managing global accounting operations and working with international subsidiaries is a plus*Job Offer** Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance.* Hybrid work schedule and flexible work hours* Unlimited PTO & 10 paid holidays* 401(k) matching programMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
