- Analyzing financial statements, including tax returns, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to assess the financial health of businesses.
- Evaluating borrower's credit history, financial performance, and ability to repay loans.
- Conducting ratio analysis, trend analysis, and cash flow projections to support credit decisions
Credit Risk Assessment:
- Identifying potential risks associated with commercial loan applications and make recommendations to mitigate those risks.
- Assessing the adequacy of collateral and determine loan-to-value ratios and monitoring economic and industry conditions that could impact borrower's ability to repay loans.
- Analyzing Small Administration, Asset Based, and Government Contract Lending requests.
Credit Memo Preparation:
- Preparing detailed credit memos that summarize financial analysis, risk assessment, and recommendations for loan approval or denial.
- Presenting credit findings to loan committees or senior management for review and decision-making.
- Ensuring that all credit analysis complies with the bank's policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements: Ten years to fifteen years of similar or related experience. Strong understanding of financial products, credit analysis, and risk management principles.
