This opportunity is to work for a Series A Sustainability company that is at the forefront of the global fight against plastic pollution. Their mission is to empower businesses to act on plastic pollution while running impactful projects that remove and recover ocean-bound plastic waste.

They already have a global reach and operate in seven countries across the Americas, Africa and Asia.

This is an exciting time to be joining the business as they've recently closed a $20M+ Series A, led by some of the world's best investors.

Role

They are now seeking a VP Finance who will play a pivotal role in the next phase of their growth. Reporting directly into their CEO, from day one you'll get the opportunity to play a key role in day-to-day operation, whilst also making strategic decisions and serving as an integral part of the executive team

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience working in a Series A - C startup
• Minimum 7 years experience
• Experience of leading fundraising rounds
• Experience of scaling a Finance & Accounting team from the ground up
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Experience with Quickbooks
