The VP, Logisticswill directly oversee trip assignment and management, both automated and manual and be responsible for maintaining consistent process across dispersed operational team. What you'll do:Oversee strategic logistics Vendor relationships and closely align with Director, Strategic Procurement to develop holistic procurement strategies and guidelinesTrack industry trends and changesWork closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement logistics strategies that align with the overall business goalsDevelop strategies to improve safety and reduce risk, working closely with the legal and risk management teamsOversee and inspire a high-performing logistics team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementDevelop QBR process with strategic providers to strengthen relationshipsParticipate in internal, regional QBRs to ensure alignment of priorities across OperationsAnalyze logistics costs, identify opportunities for cost reductions, and create and drive strategies to improve overall cost-effectiveness for the organizationAct as a key stakeholder in MTM Link and future Logistics software development to ensure processes are efficient and effective for both internal users and Transportation ProvidersOversee the financial budget and cost containment initiativesEnsure the implementation and compliance of company policies, procedures, and directives in alignment with contract, state and federal regulationsProvide process leadership and mentoring to the field logistic teams to ensure effective working relationships with Transportation ProvidersMonitor key service indicators and take action to improve underperforming metricsSupport RFP responses and new business implementations as neededOther duties as assignedWhat you'll need: Experience, Education & Certifications:High School Diploma or G.E.D.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceMinimum 10+ years Operational and/or Logistics experienceMinimum of 7 years' experience leading an Operations teamExperience creating and maintaining a budgetProficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Power BISkills:Ability to effectively interpret dataAnalytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis toolsAbility to develop and lead business processes with a focus on continuous improvement, experience in Lean Six Sigma a plusVisionary leadership with the ability to drive innovation and changeKnowledgeable of MTM processes and software, such as MTM Link, AS400, SalesForce, etcStrong business acumen and financial aptitudeStrong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationshipsStrong communication skills, to include public speakingStrong analytical and critical thinking skills are a mustRegular attendance is requiredEven better if you have...Master's degree, preferredCompetency in continuous improvement methodologies preferredWhat's in it for you: Health and Life Insurance PlansDental and Vision Plans401(k) with a company matchPaid Time Off and Holiday PayMaternity/Paternity LeaveCasual Dress EnvironmentTuition ReimbursementMTM Perks Discount Program Leadership Mentoring Opportunities Salary Min: $210,000Salary Max: $270,000This information reflects the base salary pay range for this job based on current national market data.
