Job Title: Vice President of Business Development

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President of Business Development to lead our expansion efforts. This role is critical in identifying and establishing new centers, managing the buildout process, and overseeing accreditation and market development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development within the healthcare or education sectors, with a proven track record of successfully scaling operations and navigating regulatory environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and regional needs to inform expansion plans and target areas for growth.
- Set and manage objectives for new center openings, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to identify and secure new locations for ABA centers.
Center Development and Setup:
- Lead the site selection process, including identifying potential locations, negotiating purchase and lease agreements, and managing site evaluations.
- Oversee the buildout process, coordinating with architects, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
- Ensure that all new centers meet company standards and comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Work with the Executive team to plan center design and layout.
- Manage furnishing and supply orders.
Accreditation and Compliance:
- Manage the accreditation process for new centers, working closely with regulatory bodies and certification agencies.
- Ensure that new centers adhere to all compliance requirements and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
Market Development:
- Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, community organizations, and referral sources.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote new centers and drive awareness within target communities.
- Monitor and assess market performance, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal departments, including business and clinical operations, finance, and HR, to ensure seamless integration of new centers into the company's existing structure.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members involved in the development and launch of new centers.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and report on business development activities, project progress, and key performance indicators.
- Prepare and present regular updates to the executive team and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ABA business development, or 5+ in a healthcare or education sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and accreditation requirements within the healthcare or education industry.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
