This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.As the Vice President of Engines Manufacturing, you will be responsible for financial and operational results for the Huntsville, AL and Kent, WA Blue Engines Manufacturing operations. This requires the ability to communicate the vision, strategy, and tactical application of cost-effective strategies and key deliverables.The multi-site Execution Leader is responsible and accountable for tactical and strategic operational execution and financial results for all Blue Manufacturing Programs established to support engine Manufacturing in Huntsville and Kent. This includes leading a skilled, interdisciplinary team, responsible for the production execution of Engine Program BE3U and BE4 product models and any other engine variants as well as potential Advanced Development Programs that are to be built in Huntsville and Kent. This Executive will partner closely with all Operations Execution Leaders sharing lessons learned and standard processes. Furthermore, this leader will partner closely with all collaborators within the Operations Organization ensuring current and future programs meet commitments with safety and quality at the forefront, including make/buy decisions, new tooling technologies, and company strategies always fostering a continuous improvement mentality.Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct initiatives and strategies that deliver cost-effective, high-quality operational excellence that produce development and flight engines of launch systems for spaceflight.
- Propagate key operational takeaways and standard methodologies to support improvement across the Blue enterprise.
- Champion the overall production for existing and new programs while growing and developing your team at all levels.
- Analyzing processes and operations at the micro and macro levels followed by implementing high impact improvements for safety, cost savings, and other means to accelerate progress.
- Oversee the development and implementation of a data-driven system for scheduling, planning, reporting through dashboards and metrics.
- Develop and maintain positive customer interface interactions, ensuring effective communication and seamless collaboration between internal teams and external clients to meet project objectives and enhance overall customer satisfaction.

- BA or BS degree or equivalent experience with emphasis in Operation Management or Manufacturing Engineering and progressive responsibility increases.
- 15 proven years of manufacturing leadership experience.
- Experience leading, managing, and growing a diverse team on fast-paced projects.
- Understands how to create and manage work cell standard work and track deviation from that standard work.
- Solid understanding and applied experiences in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Toyota Production System methods that drive standardization, continuous improvement, and improve flow and throughput of products.
- Experience managing capital improvements and layout.
- Demonstrated experience leading organizations through large-scale change management initiatives that influence culture, define tools & processes, and improve competencies.
- Highly effective and professional verbal and written communication skills with team, internal customers, and suppliers that includes a strong focus on teamwork and internal/external customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrated ability to work multi-functionally within a geographically dispersed organization.

- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Preferred Qualifications:
- 20+ years proven experience in manufacturing experience in aerospace or a closely related industry, such as launch vehicles, aircraft, helicopters, automotive, excavation, mining, energy, or shipbuilding.
- Master's degree in engineering, operation, or business is a plus.
- Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of materials management theories, processes, and practices.
- Knowledge of fabrication processes, integration processes, systems engineering practices, test, quality, and configuration management systems.
